It is now over a month since our club as we knew it was brought to an abrupt halt and life began to take an unfamiliar path.
This different way of doing things can be a challenge, so your committee of Biddulph Running Club would like to reassure you that even though we cannot meet to train, encourage and socialise together, the club is still here.
Human connection, in the form of all our members, is what makes the club the success it is, sharing the effort and the rewards.
There is no doubt that all of you will have been touched in some way by this virus, be it in our change of family life routine, loved ones or going to work. We also know that this isn't going to be over any time soon, so we must resign ourselves to the knowledge that it may be a while before things return to normal.
This isn't news I know, but a small gesture intended to reach out and say that you can be reassured that when we are through this and able to, the club will reopen and we will be ready to begin again. Your committee is still meeting (virtually of course) to keep the plans for the future ticking.
Also please remember we are still available to lend an ear or give advice if needed. We are able to be reached through the usual channels of email or social media.
